Learn to make a one-of-a-kind, custom-fit bracelet using traditional chainmail weaving techniques. It’s a great little showstopper piece of jewelry for casual dress! Corliss makes learning this pattern easy to master. Choose from a selection of custom-made focal elements to make your bracelet your own!
Date: Saturday, February 24, 2024
Location: The Bowers Museum, inside, in the John Lee Court
Time: 1 pm until 4 pm
All kit materials are included with your fee. (the kit includes sturdy 18 gauge brass jump rings in gun-metal tone, plus a nifty toggle clasp – either matching or similar to what is shown – plus a custom-made focal element)
Just bring a set of pliers (flat nose, needle nose, round nose), blue painter’s tape, handi-wipes, some toothpicks, a work surface, and close-up glasses or an Optivisor.
Cancellations made on the day of the workshop are non-refundable. However, you’ll be mailed via USPS with tracking, the materials kit, and a digital link to a tutorial with full instructions on making your bracelet.
Cancellations made before the workshop day will receive a 50% refund ($37.50) minus the credit card fees charged by either PayPal or Square.

Corliss will promote this workshop at the Bead Society Holiday party and the January 2024 monthly Bead Society meeting. Checks are accepted at these on-site venues, as well as credit card payments.

In consideration of accepting this activity, and to the extent permitted by the law, I hereby agree to release, indemnify, defend, and hold harmless on behalf of myself, The Bead Society of Orange County, and its officers, directors, clients, and agents. Presenters or employees, by Corliss Rose-2Roses (instructor), The Bowers Museum, and their representatives (host) from and against any and all liabilities, claims, penalties, losses, or expenses, attorneys’ fees of any kind or nature whatsoever, whether related to bodily injury, property damage or any other form of injury or loss to me, caused by any negligent act or omission of The Bead Society of Orange County, and et all as mentioned above, arising out of or in any way related to participation in the activity for which I am registered. I acknowledge that the activity of this release employs the use of metal, plastics, and jewelry-related tools.
As a result of my agreement, I am accepting those risks for myself. I also accept full responsibility for parking my vehicle and securing my personal valuables, tools, and supplies for this workshop. I further give permission to The Bead Society of Orange County to take photographs while participating in this activity for use in future Bead Society of Orange County publicity, and I will not receive any compensation for such use.
