Learn to create shimmering, optical effects using metallic polymer clay!

Students will learn the properties of mica infused, metallic polymer clay and how to manipulate it to form beautiful patterns of contrasting color. The workshop will also include instruction on how to successfully and securely embed jewelry findings such as bails for pendants and jump rings for earrings. You’ll leave with a beautiful piece of jewelry that you’ve created with a little bit of Mica Magic!

 In consideration of accepting this activity, and to the extent permitted by the law, I hereby agree to release, indemnify, defend and hold harmless on behalf of myself, The Orange County Fine Arts (host) and its officers, directors, clients, agents. presenters or employees, by Corliss Rose-2Roses (instructor), from and against any and all liabilities, claims, penalties, losses, or expenses (including attorneys’ fees), of any kind or nature whatsoever, whether related to bodily injury, property damage or any other form of injury or loss to myself, caused by any negligent act or omission of The Orange County Fine Arts, and et all as mentioned above, arising out of or in any way related to participation in the activity for which I am registered. I acknowledge that the activity of this release employs the use of craft knives, tissue cutting blades, a heat source (commercial toaster oven) and polymer clay.

As a result of my agreement, I am accepting those risks for myself. I also accept full responsibility for the parking of my vehicle and the security of my personal valuables, tools and supplies for this demonstration. I further give permission to Corliss Rose and The Orange County Fine Arts to take photographs while participating in this activity for use in future publicity and that I will not receive any compensation for such use.
